The Nesmuk SOUL chef's knife was the first knife to be made from a completely different steel than that used in the knife industry. It thus symbolises the idea behind Nesmuk and marks the beginning of a new demand for the most important kitchen tool of all. Thanks to the element niobium contained in the unique steel alloy, Nesmuk SOUL enables an extreme sharpness and excellent edge retention that cannot be achieved with ordinary types of stainless steel. The chef's knife with a 180 mm long and 3 mm thick blade, hollow-ground on one side, is the classic all-rounder and is indispensable and versatile as a "basic knife" in any kitchen.
THE THINNEST STAINLESS STEEL BLADE
Only the Nesmuk steel can do this: the blade, which is only 4 mm thick on the back, is hollow ground on one side, creating the thinnest geometry that can be achieved with a stainless steel blade.
HOLLOW GROUND ON ONE SIDE
The blade is hollow-ground on one side and offers a unique cutting feel. In addition, the blade is approx. 30 g lighter - perhaps the lightest chef's knife in the world.
Ergonomic and solid handles for fatigue-free working: The design of the Nesmuk handle is as aesthetic as it is practical. For the wooden handles, Nesmuk uses only the best, often hand-picked pieces of exquisite quality and certified origin. With wood as a naturally grown material, each handle is unique due to its individual grain, colour shades and bullet holes. Nesmuk also offers two high-tech plastics, Juma and Micarta.
